Q: How did you come up with the idea for the film?
A: I have been a fan of classic grindhouse horrors such as Evil Dead and I Spit on Your Grave since ever, and more recently 28 Days Later.
Q: So can you tell us what the film is about?
A: The film is about the government testing anti swine flu drugs on criminals serving life inprisonment for horrendous crimes inside an irish prison, before the general public was informed about the virus.
The experiment goes horribly wrong, as the Irish inmates start showing adverse effects to the treatment. They are ordered by the government to be shipped as soon as possible to a special lab in London, where they will receive further treatment. However on the voyage, the prisoners turn into zombies and wreck the boat.
The zombies get washed up on the isle of Anglesey, on the picturesqe beach of Llanddwyn where they feast on everything and everyone in sight. Will the zombies make it over the only way off the island and to the mainland - the Menai bridge?! Or will they be stopped in time?
Q: It is rumoured that Big Brother's Marcus Akin and Glyn Wise are to appear in the film, is this true?
A: Yes, I am so exited to having two of the most charasmatic and entertaining housemates in history of Big Brother in the film. Marcus brings a wicked sense of humour and has a commanding presence whilst Glyn brings comedy and an infectious likeability. I have written parts especially for them with their larger than life personalities in mind.
Q: Can you give us any clues to what they will be doing?
A: Let's just say it's gonna be off the chain. There will be blood, gore, tanks, goths and sexy women. What more needs to be said!
"Cannot wait to take part in the zombie film, even if I do get eaten by one." ~Glyn Wise
"Just looking forward to doing some quality murdering." ~ Marcus Akin
